Just looking thru some golden oldies this morning. I'm getting restless. Bored.
Kinda. Yesterday I decided to move the carpet, bed and assorted studio goodies into another room in the studio. There are windows on 2 sides and so the light is very different. These are just a few impromptu snaps I shot to check the light.
I have a feeling I'm going to make some very interesting images here.Sorry it's been slow with the updates recently. Hopefully that will be changing.
The weather is finally cooling down some so I went out early today and checked out the gourds at the supermarket. I found a couple that I liked and then drove over to the studio. I think I'm going to have to shoot a few still lifes too.I've been trying to get a soft, distorted effect for some time now. Tried old plastic bags, sheet plastic with hairspray, chiffon........nothing got me what I wanted. Last week while selling my father's tractor, I got to talking with a farmer. He had some old glass in his truck.
I'm still experimenting with it but I think I've found what I want.
